Christmas Tree at Clinton Square, Syracuse

Sometimes when you are photographing a certain subject matter, it’s best to look at the surroundings. What makes this image work for me is not the lit Christmas tree in Clinton Square itself, but a combination of the tree and it’s reflection in the freshly resurfaced ice. [exif id=”479″]

Paper Mill Island July 4th Fireworks

Paper Mill Island in Baldwinsville, NY is a popular venue for concerts and fireworks. The fireworks show on July 4th 2014 was looking grim with the sudden downpour of rain; but right before the show started the rain stopped. Thanks to the rain however, we were treated to an amazing golden red light during Sunset....
